Happy Birthday to us...

So over at the Digi Galore blog, we are celebrating our first birthday!

We started over on Digi Galore Facebook and we have over 1000 crafters in our lovely group and we thought we would bring our love for Digi Images into Blog Land

We have a brilliant blog hop for you today
It will run for the whole month of August

With a Anything Goes Challenge at the end of it

If you do the blog hop and a card you will be entered for the big prize

With Lots of prize's for everyone else come and join our fun and spread the word
So you should have joined me from Louise's blog, if you are lost check the list, where you can always start from the beginning

Now for a couple of projects using images from our fabulous sponsors!

You can win 3 images of your choice from the Stamping Chef

Here is what I created with Sip and Relax
I decided to stick with sepia tones for this project, and mounted the image and calendar on kraft card stock

I used all flexmarkers for this image:
Burnt Sienna, Nutmeg, Putty, Satin, Vanilla, Saddle Brown, Cinnamon, Almond, Light Fawn

Now for another project, this time the image is from Beansie Doodles
You can win 3 images of your choice from Beansie Doodles

Here is what I created with Sew What - Buttons
I again mounted the image onto kraft cardstock, and used a sampler from the new Docrafts range, Tilly Daydreams. I added some faux stitching around the image, to add a small border, and tie it all together.

I of course coloured the image using promarkers:
Blush, Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Pale Pink, Sorbet (F), Pale Citrus (F), Forest Green, Bright Green, Lime Green, Mustard, Pineapple Crush, Raw Sienna, Cinnamon, Nutmeg (F), Saddle Brown (F)

Here is the list so you don't get lost

  11. Two such totally different projects! I like your choice of colors for the coffee break themed image, and the faux stitching and paper with cross-stitched letters really work well with your choice of image for the second one. Great!
