A new addiction...

Hello all, hope you are all well, I have been busy the past few days making cards (mainly inside, thanks to the indecisive British weather!) using my Promarkers from Letraset. These pens are my latest stationary love, they come in over 100 different colours (of which I intend to collect every one!) and the inks are transparent which means they are great for layering and building up colour (great for some of the cards that I have been making recently!)

The first card I made uses a digital stamp I won from Redonkulous Designs (the name is right, makes it more fun I think!) Sheryl (the owner, creator etc) is running a giveaway at the moment for the first 100 followers to her blog. For every 25 followers, she does a draw and that person wins a digi of their choice. Well I was the first winner (made my day, I must admit) and I chose the adorable Babies and Butterflies (can be seen in her shop here) and here is the card I made with it:

I think the colours are very 'British' what with the Jubilee and Olympics this year (completely unintentional choice I might add!)
Aren't they just adorable?? I found the image great to colour with my pens, and as I was doing so, I could just imagine it happening.

The other cards that I have been making are also done using digi stamps, but this time from a different source: I came across this blog, slightly by accident, and I am happy that I did. Angelique creates digi stamps and shares them for free (I'm all for saving money where I can, so a complete bonus!) So I went through the whole blog and downloaded a fair selection of images, to sit and play with, and play I did!!

Here are a few of my creations with Angelique's images: (I apologise for the quality of some of the images, I am trying to improve)

Aren't the images incredible?? Like the image I won from Redonkulous, I found them fun and easy to colour, and I have plenty more of them to colour and make pretty things with, so plenty more images to share soon!! (I would share the link to each image separately, but I'm sure that with a little browsing, you could find them yourself! )

One final card to share with you today. Once again coloured with my Promarkers, but this time using a rubber stamp, (you can find it here) which I stamped and embossed with clear powder (to seal the ink, I don't have the recommended ink pad to use with Promarkers, so I find this method works just as well) I then added a couple of Craftwork Cards Card Candi (Icing Sugar, coloured with Antique Pink PM to co-ordinate with project)

What do you think??

I hope you have fun even just browsing some of the above links (but I can't be blamed for any new addictions found, I just made you all aware, nothing else!! :P)

See you all in a couple of days with more goodies to share with you :)

Oh, if anybody would like to know any colours I used for any images, please ask, I do make a note of colours used in images for reference purposes :)
