Trying something a little different

Hi all, I'm back again with a challenge entry this time. This months challenge over at Make It Colourful is to use Purple and Turquoise as your main colour scheme, or to print on something on other than white cardstock. As soon as I saw this amazing project on DT Kay's blog, I knew I wanted to try something similar! I just loved the idea!

I tried it using book pages, I have a book that I keep just for projects like this, (and make flowers with too!)

I used Old Calvin's Flower Surprise to create this piece:

For this image, I coloured it using my Spectrum Noir pencils. I currently only have 2 of the 5 tins, but I am finding them great to work with! (Sorry no colour list at the moment, I can't find it!)

I love this so much, I might have to do a couple more!
