Day 11

Day 11 Dish the dirt on your biggest craft spend OR Craft something for a child recipient

I can't really say I have had one big spend....the amount I have spent on Promarkers and Digi Stamps over the past 18 months or so would be a different story! If I was to dish on my largest accumulative spend then it would definitely be my pens and images, but I wouldn't have it any other way! It's what makes me happy and that's all that matters (that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!)

Crafting for a child recipient is always an interesting one, it can sometimes be a challenge to make it fitting to the recipient, to ensure that it isn't too kiddy or too grown up. The project I am sharing today I think would be ideal for any girl, especially young girls, as who doesn't love princesses?!

The image is Cerridwen from Saturated Canary. I have been contemplating buying this image for a while, and was sold when I saw a lovely project with it yesterday on the Little Darlings Facebook page. I coloured her, then cut around her using a die cut image as a template shape. I then coloured the background using my glitter pens and a water brush. The backing is the same thing, with some curling ribbon and raffia to hang it. The butterflies have been glossy accented :)

See you all tomorrow :)

  2. Oh, no, we don't want to go there - on cumulative spends that is!!!! NO WAY - a girl has to have some secrets for herself. LOL....
