Monochrome Fun

Hi all, back again. This time to share a card created for a challenge.

This week, the theme at I love Promarkers is Monochrome. For some this means using black and white, but as long as you use colours within the same tone (i.e reds or greens) then that is monochrome.

So for this one, I chose the image Junko from Mayzy Art and I chose to use a blue colour scheme:

Promarkers Used:
Blush, Coral, Pale Pink, Sunkissed Pink, Cerise, True Blue, Cyan, Sky Blue, Polar Blue, Twilight Blue, April Shower, Raw Sienna, Pumpkin, Ginger, Cool Grey 1

I know the stripey paper is from the Forever Friends The Good Life Paper pack, as for the spotty paper I am not so sure. The birthday sentiment is from a stamp set that came with a magazine and the gems are from a Docrafts gem wheel. I also added a small amount of Glossy Accents to the star on her necklace.

I am entering this into the I love Promarkers Challenge - 149 Monochrome

I am also entering this into the MayzyArt Challenge - #8 Anything Goes

  1. Very cute! I love the pop of yellow/orange in her hair to create a nice contrast to the monochrome of the rest of the card.

Thanks for entering the MayzyArt Challenge!
